    As winter nears, drive cautiously near schools during school run and coming home from after-school clubs as younger kids may not be road-savvy. Drive slowly, watch for pupils, and ensure your children use lights, take out at least one earphone, wear helmets, high-vis and bright colours. Mind the [budget] gap Cambridgeshire County Council’s estimated budget gap for 2024/25 has increased from a predicted £16M to more than £23M—largely due to increases in demand for services and inflationary pressure. Without action being taken this gap will grow and is predicted to be more than £20M in the following year, and a further £19M and more the year after that. Cambridgeshire is not alone.…

    Have you planned the weekend just prior to Christmas. A lovely way to start the Christmas festivities is to attend a Christingle Service. St Mary’s Church, Over warmly invites you to join us on  Saturday 23rd December at 4.00pm for a Christingle service. This is a short service suitable for all ages where you can make a Christingle candle (a decorated orange).     We’re very much looking forwards to our next Café that we would delighted if you could join us this Saturday for refreshments and a morning of great entertainment, fun and exercise.
