Queen Pod, with her very quiet and obedient husband King Pod, holds an annual competition so that she might find a suitor for their son, Prince Pea. But her meticulous, and often impossible, challenges have (quite deliberately) left him a bachelor. So, when the mischievous Wizard Tangreinee kidnaps the original fairy tale Princess, Cinderella, to train his two daughters, will Prince Pea finally be wed? Or will the unique charms of the boisterous Strawberry Sorbet win his mother over? And in a land where fruit and vegetables walk and talk, what exactly will be hidden beneath that famous mattress? Monet at Giverny Caroline Holmes We are a friendly group of gardeners and plant lovers who have regular meetings with a speaker and raffle and occasional plant sales.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month; from September to May we meet at Over Community Centre where we usually have a guest speaker talking on various aspects of gardening, in June we often arrange a visit to a local garden and in July we hold a social evening.  Membership runs annually from 1 April to 31 March and is currently £15.00 per year.  Visitors to meetings are welcome but we do ask for a guest fee of £3.00 per visit.  A 10% discount is available on most items at Oakington Garden Centre, plants at Parkhall Nursery in Somersham and also items from Madingley Mulch with a current membership card.   If you would like to come to a meeting as a guest just turn up or contact any member of the committee for further details, we would love to see you.  Committee members: Richard Cox, Julie Carter, Jeremy Tyrrell, Carolyn Redmayne, Carole Cowley, Jan Hook, Julie Wilson, Cynthia Bidwell, Rachel Henshaw Enquiries, please email gardeningclubover@gmail.com
