With a heritage dating back over 100 years, Clear Glass was formed in 2012 by an Over resident,
taking over former business, Constables, on retirement of the owner. With a staff of 8, they\u2019re now
based on the Broad Lane Industrial Estate in Cottenham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the Federation of Small Businesses and having health & safety accreditation with
Constructionline, this glass and glazing company provide a range of services and products to
homeowners and businesses. These include splashbacks, antique mirrors and shower enclosures,
which are made to suit the space available, and can be customised completely \u2013 for example with
regard to finish, colour and texture \u2013 making each job unique and special to the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frequently undertaking projects in Over, recent work included the changing of some blown double
glazing as well as fitting splashbacks for an Over resident. As standard practice, they replace double
glazing with energy efficient glass, which helps to reduce heating bills as well as being better for the
environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clear Glass are currently involved in new housing developments in Over \u2013 both at Hayfield Homes in
New Road and Granary Developments in Fen End, installing mirrors, splashbacks and balconies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clear Glass’s Manager enjoyed the skate park and recreation facilities as a schoolboy (a former Willingham lad). While Clear Glass’s owner gets great enjoyment from many picturesque local dog walks, and particularly likes the community feel of our village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
