We understand that queues and waiting times are often long and frustrating but by not waiting to collect will only cause further delays. To clarify, the dispensary is unable to dispense any hospital requested medication without a clinic letter and these letters are often not received in the surgery for a few days after a clinic appointment\/hospital attendance. In addition, the dispensary does not stock hospital medication so it has to be ordered in, which can sometimes take days, again causing further delays. Please treat our staff with courtesy and respect at all times. Abusive, aggressive, or rude behaviour towards any member of our team will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>National Flu Immunisation Programme 2026\/2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to offer the NHS flu vaccination programme again this year to help protect our patients against seasonal influenza. Protecting yourself against flu is particularly important if you are at higher risk of serious illness or complications.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From <strong>1 September 2026<\/strong>, flu vaccinations will be available for <strong>children aged 2 or 3 years<\/strong> on 31 August 2026 and for <strong>pregnant women<\/strong> at any stage of pregnancy, who can receive their vaccine throughout the flu season.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From <strong>1 October 2026<\/strong>, vaccinations will be available for patients <strong>aged 65 years and over<\/strong> and for those with <strong>eligible health conditions<\/strong> that entitle them to a free NHS flu vaccine.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will be holding dedicated flu vaccination clinics at the surgery during October, making it easy for patients to receive their vaccine and stay protected this winter.
