Over Gardening Club

Our June meeting on Wed 17^th June will be a visit to Sylvia Newman’s garden at Green End Farm, Over Road, Longstanton CB24 3DW. We will meet there at 6.30pm (earlier than our usual meeting time). Proceeds go to the National Gardening Scheme. The entry fee of £6 per head for members will be paid by the Club. Any guests will need to pay the entry fee. Refreshments of tea, coffee and cake will be available but at members own cost.

We are a friendly group of gardeners and plant lovers who have regular meetings with a speaker and raffle and occasional plant sales.  Meetings are held on the 3^rd Wednesday of each month; from September to May we meet at Over Community Centre where we usually have a guest speaker talking on various aspects of gardening, in June we often arrange a visit to a local garden and in July we hold a social evening.  Membership runs annually from 1 April to 31 March and is currently £15.00 per year.  Visitors to meetings are welcome but we do ask for a guest fee of £3.00 per visit.  A 10% discount is available on most items at Oakington Garden Centre, plants at Parkhall Nursery in Somersham and also items from Madingley Mulch with a current membership card.
