Be an early bird and join us on a morning walk around Fen Drayton Lakes to experience the magic of the spring dawn chorus. Listen to the spectacular sounds of the birds bursting into song as the sun rises over the lakes. Perfect for wildlife enthusiasts of all levels, this will be a leisurely guided walk to learn more about bird song, bird identification and the wildlife that lives at Fen Drayton Lakes. At a Community Lifesaver session I’ll teach you how to be a lifesaver. You’ll learn you how to respond to a cardiac arrest with life-saving techniques such as CPR and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). It is my goal that you will be confident to help when someone experiences a cardiac arrest, increasing the chances of survival before the ambulance arrives. Community Lifesaver Training focuses on building confidence in participants to perform CPR rather than on assessment or testing. The emphasis is on promoting a willingness and confidence to help during a cardiac arrest with the ethos that any attempt at CPR is better than no attempt.
