    A Bouquet of Weeds - a talk by Michael Brown. We curse them and try to kill them, but in the past most of  our common weeds were grown on purpose because they were useful; yes, even Ground Elder!  Learn how to love your weeds and get your own back at the same time. We are a friendly group of amateur gardeners meeting monthly at the Community Centre, and having a variety of speakers and events throughout the year.  Annual subscription is £15, with our members benefitting from a 10% discount at Oakington Garden centre on production of a current membership card.  Visitors are always welcome, £3 per meeting.   • Swavesey Camera Club Photographic Exhibition

    Saturday 23rd March 2024 -10.00 - 16.00 - FREE ADMISSION Swavesey Memorial Hall, High Street, Swavesey, CB24 4QU Free parking at the back of the hall or further down the road in Market Square - near the White Horse pub. There will be about 200 prints on show and also a continuous AV showing some digital images. As well as viewing some stunning prints, bring along your own camera or phone and participate in our portrait and macro mobile studios. Some prints and cards will be available for sale. There will also be excellent cakes, tea and coffee available all day. So if you are interested in Photography even if it is just on your phone do come along !
