    A small group of villagers, living with cancer, meet once a month to chat and support each other. If you, or someone in your family is in this position, you'd be welcome to join us. We meet in the lounge area at the Community Centre. Note that we are meeting on 8th April 2024 as 1st April is a Bank Holiday. Please note that the group is not affiliated to any organisation and has no medical input.

    Climbing & Rambling Roses for Every Situation - a talk by Simon White of Peter Beales Roses Name the position and there is a Climber or Rambling Rose that will grow there, from arches to pergolas, walls and fences including north walls, up trees and in pots and containers, obelisks and post and rails and even free standing.   This talk will show you that every garden has somewhere that you would be able to grow a climber or rambler rose. 7.30pm Main Hall, Over Community Centre, Wednesday 17th April 2024 We are a friendly group of amateur gardeners meeting monthly at the Community Centre, and having a variety of speakers and events throughout the year.  Annual subscription is £15, with our members benefiting from 10% discount at Oakington Garden Centre on production of a current membership card.  Visitors are always welcome, £3 per meeting.  Enquiries, please contact gardeningclubover@gmail.com
