    Fenland Farming in the 1950s.  Speaker: Selwyn Richardson Our speaker for this first meeting of the new season grew up on a farm in West Norfolk where the Grade 1 soil was a mixture of peat and silt.   • Swavesey Camera Club – WELCOME NIGHT

    Swavesey Camera Club - WELCOME NIGHT - Thursday 7th September @ 7.00pm - 9.00pm The Welcome night is a chance to see some of the club members images and to find out more about the club. The Welcome night is FREE to visitors and there will be wine and nibbles ! We are always keen to encourage new members to join and pride ourselves on being a very friendly, welcoming club with activities to suit all abilities. We will have guest speakers at some of our meetings covering a variety of subjects eg. Flower photography, wildlife, architecture, landscape and astrophotography. We also have internal and external competitions. There will also be members nights covering various topics - so something for everyone ! Attached is the programme of our forthcoming season. The full annual subscription this season (September 2022 - June 2023) is - Adult £68 Concession £55 Youth membership £20. Guest visitor - £4 per meeting Come along and try us out! The Club meets in the 'Global Environment Centre' at Swavesey Village College every Thursday during College term time.
