OWLS Urgently Needs a New Coordinator

Unfortunately OWLS (Community Car Scheme) is losing one of its long standing coordinators for family reasons. We thank her for all she has done for OWLS over the years that she has been a coordinator.

We now need to urgently find at least one new volunteer coordinator so that the duties can be shared in a manageable way. Our volunteer coordinators are the backbone of OWLS and have such an important role to play organising journeys and liaising with customers and drivers. We can’t function without enough coordinators to evenly spread the load. Could you offer your services or do you know of anyone who might be willing and able to take on the role? Coordinators are on duty for a fortnight at a time about 5 times a year. They are not expected to stay at home all the time and do not work evenings or weekends.
