    Do you enjoy textile hobbies? Are you available on Friday mornings? Whether you're an embroiderer, crocheter, knitter, patchworker .......any form of textile artist or crafter really, and whatever level of skill you have, you'd be most welcome to join us in Over Community Centre on Friday mornings from 9.30. Our aim to get together to socialise through our hobbies, hopefully inspiring and helping each other to learn new skills. We meet in the lounge and support the centre by buying our drinks  from the café.

  • English Cream Tea Celebration in Aid of the NSPCC

    ENGLISH CREAM TEA CELEBRATION - WEDNESDAY 9th JULY 2.00-4.30 P.M. AT THE GONVILLE HOTEL - IN AID OF THE NSPCC You are invited to join us for an English Afternoon Tea event in the private gardens of the Gonville Hotel, Gonville Place, Cambridge. At 2pm cordials will be served and florist Madeline Bradley will give a floral demonstration and talk about trends in special occasion flowers, royal connections and will create several flower arrangements which will then be raffled at the end of the event. At 3pm Sandwiches, assorted cakes and a freshly made scone with clotted cream and jam will be served along with fine leaf teas. £27.50 per person.Groups of friends and families are most welcome to attend.
