February Half Term Fun for Families

Looking for ways to keep the kids happy (and the adults sane) this February half term? From kids-eat-free deals to exciting local days out, there’s loads happening to help you make the most of the school break without breaking the bank.

🍽️Kids Eat Free (or for £1!)

Great news for hungry families — lots of cafés and restaurants are running brilliant half-term offers.

🛒 Supermarket Cafés

  • Morrisons – Kids eat free all day, every day with any adult meal costing £5 or more.
  • Tesco – One free kids’ meal with any adult café purchase, Monday–Friday (Clubcard required).
  • Asda – Kids eat for just £1 all day, every day — no minimum adult spend.
  • Sainsbury’s – Kids’ meals for £1 with the purchase of an adult hot main.
  • Dunelm (Pausa Café) – Kids eat free for every £4 spent by an adult.

🍕 Restaurant Chains

  • ASK Italian – Kids eat free with the ASK Perks app.
  • Bill’s – Up to two kids eat free all day on weekdays (Monday 16 – Friday 27 February) when an adult orders a main.
  • Beefeater & Brewers Fayre – Two children under 16 eat free at breakfast with every adult breakfast purchased.
  • BrewDog – Kids eat free with an adult main meal (pre-booking usually required).
  • Bella Italia – Kids eat free on Thursdays and for £1 Sunday–Wednesday (4pm–6pm).
  • The Real Greek – One free kids’ meal for every £10 spent by an adult on Sundays.
  • YO! Sushi – Kids under 12 eat free with a full-paying adult (minimum £10 spend) on weekdays.

🎨 Half Term Activities & Days Out

🌿 1. Anglesey Abbey – Winter Nature Hunt

Pick up a spotter sheet from the Visitor Centre and head out on a winter nature adventure. Let the kids burn off energy in the Woodland Play Area, then warm up with drinks and treats from the Caffè Mobile (14–22 February, 10am–3pm).

🌲 7. Cambridge University Botanic Garden – Crazy Cone Caper
