
Make Your Own Christmas Decoration

1. Use a fairly firm piece of paper – offcuts of thicker wrapping paper works well.
In this example, we are using a page from a catalogue.
Cut to desired size – we started off with paper measuring slightly over A5 – but it’s up to you!

2. Fold the paper into a concertino – each fold is approx 1.5 cm


3. Cut a triangle shape out of each end (or any other shape you fancy, or leave as is!)


4. Fold in half

5. Use raffia (for gift decoration) or cotton or ribbon (for tree decoration) to tie securely around the centre

6. Pull both sides out to meet in the middle and secure (with glue, tape or a staple)

7. And repeat on the other side
