Cambridgeshire County Council Monthly Report October 2025
Cllr Luis Navarro
Dear Over residents,
I wanted to share a few important updates and reflections from recent weeks.
You may have noticed the new safety works underway along the Guided Busway, including a reduction in speed limits and the installation of fencing along key sections. These changes have been mandated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to ensure the safety of all users and nearby residents. I encourage residents to plan ahead and take measures to accommodate a potentially slower service during this period.
I’m also delighted to welcome The Revd Edward (Ed) Green as the new vicar at St Mary’s Church. Ed brings a wealth of experience and warmth to our parish, and I look forward to the positive impact he will have on our village life.
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Over Day Centre. I was deeply impressed by the dedication and warmth of the staff and volunteers. The Centre is a real asset, not just for Over, but for the surrounding area as well. It provides vital support and companionship to many, and I encourage everyone to use it, support it, and help look after it in every way we can.
As always, I’m here to listen and help. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Warm regards,
Cllr Luis Navarro
