Over Players Spring Show – Calendar Girls
The Over Players are pleased to announce that their Spring Show for 2025 is Calendar Girls.
Following the death of a much-loved husband, a group of ordinary women in a small Yorkshire Women’s Institute are prompted to do an extraordinary thing and set about creating a nude calendar to raise money for charity.
The story of the Calendar Girls launched a global phenomenon: a million copycat calendars, a record-breaking movie, stage play and now a musical written by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth.
Performance Dates:
Wednesday 28th May – Saturday 31st May 2025.
Over Community Centre
Read-throughs of the show will take place on Wednesday 15th and 22nd January at
8 p.m. in Over Church Hall.
Auditions – only for principal parts: Wednesday 29th January at Over Community Centre starting at 7.30 p.m. and the first rehearsal will be on Wednesday 5th February in the Church Hall starting at 8 p.m.
