THE ADMIRAL IS BACK!

After many years in the hospitality industry, Barry and Jane Arliss had their proverbial arms twisted by friends to give Over back it’s traditional village pub.

Together with their family, they bought The Admiral and have done a full refurbishment of the interior, patio and garden, which they hope the residents of Over will like and support.

The pub manager is Georgie, who has some staff but is still looking to recruit more.  If interested,  get in touch with her at the pub, on The Admiral Facebook page or by email at theadmiralover@gmail.com

Opening hours are 12noon to 11pm (10.30 on Sundays) and at the moment there is no food on offer.  However, the plan is to serve food in the not-too-distant future.

Children, under constant adult supervision, are allowed both inside and outside.

Dogs are not allowed inside, but are welcome outside.  There is a QR ordering system on the patio for dogwalkers to use.

Quiz nights and other special evenings will be created, and suggestions for what villagers might like here will be welcomed.

There are 3 television sets inside for watching sport.

Parking – disabled parking only is available at the back of the pub.

Morning groups who might like to hold their regular meetings at The Admiral, with tea, coffee and cold drinks on offer, should get in touch with Georgie to discuss the possibility.

Cheers, and here’s to the success of this local family venture.
