NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough urging anyone eligible for their COVID-19, flu, RSV or pneumococcal vaccines to make sure they’ve had them this winter. Each vaccine has a slightly different eligibility criteria: For some people who have got used to have their COVID-19 and flu vaccine together in winter, this might mean a change for them as the COVID-19 vaccine age criteria has changed from people over 65 to people over 75. To find out more about these vaccines, and how to book them, or find a walk-in clinic, please visit The Vaccinators website https://www.cpics.org.uk/the-vaccinators

Although two MPs have proposed a fourth option for Peterborough, only three options may be submitted. Surveys and focus groups are underway in Cambridgeshire districts. The Government has announced that the committee system in Cambridgeshire will be replaced by a ‘leader and cabinet’ model…

However, the number of residents in Over who are taking advantage of the scheme has been low in recent years and Over Parish Council discontinued its financial support for 2025/26. A higher number of Willingham residents are in the scheme and the Parish Council there has elected to continue its support. Age UK tell us…
