Over Day Centre Quiz Night a roaring success!
This year’s Over Day Centre Quiz Night was held at the Over Community Centre on Friday 12th October. Despite the wet weather, 122 quizzers gathered to pits their wits against each other, and lots of fun was had by all. We will confirm the total raised shortly. The evening simply wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of Kate and Mike Day in setting the questions and managing the quiz – we’re so grateful for all your efforts – and we’d also like to thank the Community Centre for hosting us. We are looking for volunteers to re-open Rainbows and Guides in Over. Could it be you? Rainbows welcomes all girls from 4 to 7 years old for play, learning and tons of fun in a colourful, safe space. She’ll laugh, sing and make a happy mess (and help clear it up!) as she chooses her way through our programme of activities. Over Day Centre Annual Quiz Night: Friday 13 October
Thanks to the support of Kate and Mike Day (who have agreed to be our quiz masters once more) our charity will being holding our Annual Quiz Night on Friday 13th of October at 7.30pm at the Over Community Centre. Entry is £6 per person with a maximum of 8 people per team. This is the first time that the quiz will not be held at Over Day Centre and this is due to the number of people that had to be turned away last year.
