The History Society meets at 7.30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month in The Carol Shaw Room at Swavesey Village College – through the main entrance then 20 metres along the corridor to the right. No need to book so you are welcome to just walk in. |

Following our Memory Café, our Saturday Lunch Club is serving Chicken and leek pie, or Cheese and leek pie, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy. THIS CPR TRAINING SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELLED. I've got another CPR session booked for next month. It's free to attend for residents of Over. Below are the details. The village of Over is a lovely place to live but like many villages, it can sometimes take a while for an ambulance to arrive If someone collapsed near you, would you know what to do while waiting for help? Those first few minutes really matter... As a paramedic, I've seen what happens in those moments. I've seen lives saved because someone stepped in — and I've seen how hard it is when no one felt confident enough to do something. The goal of my Community Lifesaver CPR session is to give you the confidence to step in and help until we arrive. 💪🫀 📍 Location: Over Community Centre 📅 Date: Saturday 7th March ⏰ Time: 2pm to 4pm FREE places available for residents of Over. The Chelsea Experience Roger Harvey We are a friendly group of gardeners and plant lovers who have regular meetings with a speaker and raffle and occasional plant sales. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month; from September to May we meet at Over Community Centre where we usually have a guest speaker talking on various aspects of gardening, in June we often arrange a visit to a local garden and in July we hold a social evening. Membership runs annually from 1 April to 31 March and is currently £15.00 per year. Visitors to meetings are welcome but we do ask for a guest fee of £3.00 per visit. A 10% discount is available on most items at Oakington Garden Centre, plants at Parkhall Nursery in Somersham and also items from Madingley Mulch with a current membership card. If you would like to come to a meeting as a guest just turn up or contact any member of the committee for further details, we would love to see you.
