Advent Activities Morning – St Mary’s Church
St Mary’s Church, Over, are running and Advent Activity morning on Saturday 29 November from 10.15 – 12 noon for children between 4 and 11 years. It will start in the church then move quickly over to the hall where there will be lots of Advent and Christmas themed crafts and activities to have fun with. Parents are invited to stay and enjoy some seasonal refreshments too! There is no charge for the morning, but we do require you to book a place in advance as numbers are limited. OVER VILLAGE PRODUCE SHOW 2025 The Over Village Produce Show committee would like to thank everyone who helped to make this year’s show, back in August, such a great success. This year we added in a new craft section, bringing in some new exhibitors from our village. It was wonderful to see more than 120 craft items on display. Over Gardening Club
Over Gardening Club’s November meeting will be held in the main hall at Over Community CentreThis month we have a talk by Geoff Pake entitled “My Farming Experiences”. We are a friendly group of gardeners and plant lovers who have regular meetings with a speaker and raffle and occasional plant sales. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month; from September to May we meet at Over Community Centre where we usually have a guest speaker talking on various aspects of gardening, in June we often arrange a visit to a local garden and in July we hold a social evening.
