Now that we are halfway through the year, winter feels like a very long time ago. Despite this, its lingering effects can still be seen at the reserve. As well as being a nature reserve, Fen Drayton Lakes is classified as a reservoir on the River Great Ouse floodplain and has a role in holding water during periods of flood to protect the nearby villages and relieve some of the pressure further downstream. Our first-contact physiotherapist can help patients with musculoskeletal problems (joints, bones, and muscles). They are the first point of contact at the surgery for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal problems with the expertise to order appropriate tests and investigations if required. Patients can refer themselves to first-contact physiotherapists. They do not need a referral from their GP. This helps patients get treatment more quickly.
